Tracy Schmid — acupuncture

Tracy Schmid graduated from Tristate College of Acupuncture and received a Masters in Oriental Medicine. She completed an Acupuncture Fellowship at The Department of Integrative Medicine at Beth Israel. The fellowship was a year-long, hospital program for inpatient care, where she had the privilege of working in the Department of Surgery and the Department of Oncology. Her primary working style is Kiiko Matsumoto’s (KM) Japanese style of acupuncture. She has a passion for Auricular therapy. It intrigues her how everything in our bodies is reflected in our ears. She has also studied Reiki. Acupuncture strengthens the patient’s natural healing ability by assessing and adjusting the bodies’ energy systems. Identifying the blockages that obstruct this ability, the acupuncturist addresses them, and the patient’s body will begin to heal.
