Jo-anne Lee — pilates


Jo-anne Lee is a big fan of keeping things real and being in the present. A professional dancer and certified Pilates instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute, she dances with the highly athletic Brian Brooks Moving Company, performs ‘fightsicals’ with Timothy Haskell’s Big Time Action Theatre and trains Kung Fu at the USA Shaolin Temple. She uses her dance background and extensive knowledge of movement to bring out a Pilates practice that creates space within the body, and the strength to maintain that space for a more efficient and functional way of moving. She believes that good alignment is both a physical and mental state of being. Jo-anne has worked with a variety of clients, from highly skilled marathoners and muay thai fighters, to people with chronic back issues and muscular imbalances.
